TTT’s winter/spring season begins with a bang, featuring Tiffany Antone’s work-in-progress, Ham Brown’s House. About a year ago, Paul Brown returned to the family farm, entered the house, took off his clothes and shot himself in the head. A year later, Ginny Mae Brown has moved back to the family farm to take care of her ailing Mother and quick-tempered father, but things aren't quite right. Ham is convinced his daughter is trying to kill him; his wife can’t speak; the family physician keeps coming round to check on things, and Ham’s favored son John hasn’t been home since the funeral. Ham just wants peace and quiet, but that might be hard with Ginny poking around. Tiffany is an award-winning playwright, the madwoman behind Little Black Dress INK, and co-founder of The@trics Theatre. As always, the reading of this new play is followed by audience discussion and feedback. No charge. Donations to TTT gratefully accepted.

Join TTT and Emmy-award-winning playwright Barry Teicher for a reading of newest work, The Sum of the Parts. In his new work-in-progress, Barry weaves together two periods in American history: the late 19th century era of Rags to Riches storytelling, and the 20th Century idealism of the 1920s. Beautifully interweaving the stories of writer Horatio Alger, Jr. and his biographer, Molly O’Sullivan, Teicher’s play explores dark secrets, betrayal, and forgiveness. Sparkling with snappy dialogue, this reading is not to be missed. Adult content. As always, the reading of this new play is followed by audience discussion and feedback. No charge. It’s Ascension Day in the Christian calendar, and Micki brings Discovery: The Lost Gospel of Judas back to TTT. Audiences have heard parts of this script before; now hear the first complete script: In 1978 a priceless, papyrus codex is uncovered in an Egyptian tomb. Even at 1600 years old, the codex is in good condition until it spends 17 years on the black market. Infinitely fragile, crumbling almost to dust, fragments are pieced together in a Swiss lab. Yet its journey is less shocking than its content, for this is The Gospel of Judas—a book that challenges not only long held religious beliefs, but also brings individuals face to face with personal needs, desires, and fears, as attested to by the journey of a trio of young people directly affected by the book’s revelations. Micki looks forward to your feedback following the reading, as she continues to refine this, her newest work-in-progress. No charge. Donations to TTT gratefully accepted.
